Left Ahead part 2.
This is another montage of random clips of anything that was remotely interesting/funny that happened to me while I was playing Left 4 Dead. I lament the lack of in-game sound, but I’m sure you (whoever is reading this) won’t negatively judge the quality of my clips for that insignificant but desireable trait 
.
The name Left Ahead comes from my inability to find anything better that rhymes with Left 4 Dead. Not much rhymes with left, even less rhymes with both left and dead, and fewer yet make sense with the game. So, I chose the name Left Ahead, because it can have a variety of meanings (left as in opposite of right, or left as in left behind; ahead: who is left ahead? How can you be left ahead? Or even Left Ahead as in “Left a Head”, like a zombies head or something . Of course, if you have left your head, then you are dead, and so the title would be nearly identical in connotation to Left 4 Dead).

1)When I try to play multiplayer I get a message saying “iw3mp.exe has stopped working”. What do I do?
**Thanks to “eneakume” for leaving these instruction. Go to Start/Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Sound/Recording. Right Click inside window and choose “Show Disabled Devices”. When “Stereo MIX” appears, Right Click and choose enable.
2)Do I have to play in cracked servers?
**Yes, if you try to join a server that is not cracked you will get a message saying that the key code is in use.
3)When I try to join a server I get a message saying “Key code in use”. What do I do?
**First make sure you are trying to join a cracked server. If it is a cracked server try reinstalling the private server patch. If you still get the message reinstall all the patches (make sure you install them in the correct order). If for some reason you still get the message reinstall all the patches again.
4)When I try to join a server I get an error message saying that the “code_post_gfx_mp.ff is different from the server”. What does this mean?
**Thanks to “naruto2334″ for finding this out. This is caused by installing a patch without installing the previous patch first. For example, if you install the 1.7 patch without installing the 1.6 patch.
5)When I try to join a server it says that the server is in another version. What do i do?
**If you want to play on that server you will have to update the game to the version mentioned. For example, if the message says that the server is in version 1.7 you will have to update the game to version 1.7
6)How do i update the game to a newer version?
**If you did everything in my videos you should have version 1.5. If you want to update to version 1.7 you will have to download and install the 1.6 and 1.7 patches followed by the 1.7 private server patch.
7)How do I install the private server patch?
**Copy the iw3mp from the private server patch folder and paste it into the directory (Local Disk/Program Files/Activision/Call of Duty 4-Modern Warfare) replacing the iw3mp in that folder. (Watch video from 4:21
to 5:21)
8)The game lags a lot. How can I fix this?
**Open the game and go to options/graphics. Set everything to “low” or “no” and set the “video mode” to a lower resolution. It will lower the quality of the graphics but it should make it run faster. You can play around with the settings to get the best balance of quality and performance for you computer.
9)My ping is too high. What can I do to lower it?
**Make sure you don’t have anything running in the background like the Internet, Windows Media Player, Bittorrent, ect. Also, if you have a slow internet connection this could be causing the high ping. And finally, try to connect to servers based in the U.S.(or whatever country you may be from).
